SARA

Sara Hoenes is a native of Portland, Oregon. Dancing from an early age at the School of Oregon Ballet Theatre, she was awarded a position in the professional company at the age 17. After a year in the company, Sara attended the University of Arizona on full scholarship and graduated Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Throughout her dance career Sara has held prestigious positions with Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet, James Sewell Ballet, The Steps Repertory Ensemble, the international tour of Zorro the Musical, and she spent 4 years as a Radio City Rockette. Sara’s dance career eventually led her to fitness, where she has been a high level instructor for the past 5 years in some of New York city’s top fitness studios.  What Sara loves most about Spiderbands is the high “fun-factor”, and that while super challenging, is still so accessible to everyone! Her classes are full of energy and smiles, so prepare to fly high!
